School is back in session, and DBHA’s physical expansion has been completed. We now have served 115 adolescents and are expanding to accommodate more than 20 adolescents per day in our program. We also have effectively extended our one-way transportation services to include clients as far as Wilton in the west, Manchester in the north, Salem in the east and the Massachusetts areas along route 495, from Chelmsford through Lowell to Lawrence and Andover.
We are also pleased to announce the opening of three valuable additional group therapy programs. On Mondays, Direction’s Program Director Joe Walsh will be conducting a Parents Group. On Tuesdays, Group Therapist Cerissa Desrosiers, MS, will be conducting an Aftercare Group for graduates of our IOP Program. On Wednesdays, Direction will offer an Anger Management Group, which is available to the general public. All groups are scheduled to be held between 5:15 PM and 6 PM.
We are also in the process of creating a Parenting Education Seminar, the purpose of which is to offer the benefits of Wholeistic Education to all parents, including those who have not participated in our IOP Program.
