Duncan graduated from Harvard College with a B.A. in Physical Sciences, obtained his M.D. from Saba University School of Medicine, and completed a Residency in General Psychiatry and Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Connecticut. He worked over three years as a full-time staff psychiatrist at Community Council of Nashua’s Child and Adolescent Program. During this time, he also performed on-call duties for Southern New Hampshire Medical Center’s Emergency Room, Behavioral Health Unit, and the general medical floors. He is Board Certified in both General and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Outside of work, Dr. Gill enjoys playing basketball and volleyball, and is probably (though this has not been confirmed) the only child psychiatrist in New England who can dunk. He also enjoys playing electric and acoustic guitar.

Joe graduated from Cambridge College with a M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology in 1993. Since then he has served the New Hampshire and Massachusetts region as a Child and Family Therapist at Nashua Children’s Home, an Educational Liaison for Nashua’s Title 1 program, an Emergency Services Clinician in Lowell, MA, and as a Wellness Counselor in private practice. He also has experience as the founder and CEO of a small computer and business services company.
Joe’s extracurricular activities include a variety of sports (especially jiu-jitsu, basketball, baseball and tennis), cooking, and designing and constructing custom electric guitars and amplifiers.

Bob graduated from Long Island University with a B. S. in Business Administration. He has accumulated 27 years experience working as a clinical social worker and case manager in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Robert also works at Community Council of Nashua in the Child and Adolescent Program as an intensive case manager. Other related experience includes being a senior supervisor at the Visitation Center and responsibilities for the on-call Emergency Services Program.
Bob has two grown sons. One is a service manager at a boatyard in Camden, Maine, and the other is a laser physicist in Southern California. He enjoys boating in Penobscot Bay in Maine, playing golf, and family trips to the west coast when opportunity arises.
Associates

Sheelu, as she is more commonly known, graduated from Boston University with a Masters degree in Social Work in 1999. She earned her license as an Independent Clinical Social Worker in June 2001. Since 1992, Sheelu has served the children and families of New Hampshire through her work at the Nashua Children’s Home (NCH). Beginning as a Residential Counselor, Sheelu became a Child and Family Therapist in 1999. In 2000, Sheelu assumed leadership of NCH’s fifty-bed Residential Program as its Director. Through her sixteen years of dedication to local families, Sheelu has become a highly respected professional and immensely valued member of the community.
Sheelu spends a good deal of her extra time chasing a toddler around, but also enjoys traveling, exercising in the great outdoors and watching baseball and football. She is by far the biggest Cheesehead in NH.

Lindsay graduated from Cambridge College with a M.Ed. in Mental Health Counseling in 2004. She has been in Special Education as a consultant, liaison, teacher and clinician for over ten years. Currently, she is working as the Educational Director and Clinical Liaison for the Cornerstones Day and Residential School, a Massachusetts 766 approved School designed for children ages 6-12 who require intensive psychiatric and educational treatment. She has been in this position for 8 years.
Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys a multitude of sports, including tennis, basketball and ping-pong. She has studied classical piano for 23 years, and enjoys travel – but not nearly as much as everyone at DBHA enjoys her amazing custom cakes, cookies, and other baked treats.

Cerissa is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University, New England. As a Watch Officer with the Hurricane Island Outward Bound School, in Maine and the Florida Keys; teaching leadership, teamwork, self-efficacy and compassion; or a Residential Counselor at Nashua Children’s Home, much of her adult life has been dedicated to service and education, especially for at-risk youth. Cerissa also volunteers as a Disaster Action Team member for the American Red Cross, participating in both local and national disaster relief efforts.
Cerissa’s diverse interests include sailing (she’s a captain), firefighting, and competitive ice hockey. Needless to say, she’s a DBHA MVP!

Maureen graduated from Saint Anselm College with a BA in Psychology in 2006. She immediately applied her education in the field of human service. Since the spring of 2006, she has been an intern in the Domestic Violence Unit of the Manchester District Court, supervising counseling requirements for all domestic violence defendants.
Clients at Direction look forward to Maureen’s brilliant smile and attitude, which seem to symbolize the high-energy style she brings to her work with adolescents.

Ricard moved to Nashua in 2005 to continue developing his career in professional counseling and education. He has since been employed at the Nashua Children’s Home as a Residential Youth Counselor. Ricard previously enjoyed success as the Vice President and Program Planner of From Boys to Great Men, a nonprofit youth service organization in his home town of New Orleans, LA. Prior to that, Ricard served as a Student Worker at Project Return, and as an Instructor for Save the Youth, both in New Orleans. Building on his exemplary work in the south, Ricard has already distinguished himself as an exceptional resource to the youth of the Nashua area, and a most valued member of the Direction team.
As a native of the Big Easy, Ricard brings a well-appreciated dose of southern wisdom and hospitality to Direction. Jazz fans may even recognize his famous family name -- his ancestors figured prominently in the birth of America’s most cherished musical art form!

Since her graduation from Keene State College with a BA in Psychology in 2003, Molly has worked in a variety of mental health care settings, including a hospital, a group home, a residential program, and in the Vermont Department of Corrections. Most recently, she worked as a Case Manager at Community Council of Nashua’s Child and Adolescent Program, where she quickly won over staff and clients alike with her enthusiasm, sense of humor, confidence, and clinical insight.
With her many talents (she’s also a multi-sport athlete) and one-of-a-kind personality, Molly is a wonderful addition to the DBHA family.
Erin White, CounselorErin graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, in 2002. In that same year she earned her national certification for health education professionals (C.H.E.S.). Since then, she has taught a comprehensive health curriculum, including biological, psychological, and social health to seventh and eighth grade students at the Hollis Brookline Middle School. Erin has also served the community as a volunteer for Nashua's Neighborhood Health Center, The Southern NH HIV/AIDS Task Force, and Habitat for Humanity.
With her many professional and volunteer commitments, it's a wonder that Erin finds time for family, friends, and fun, but she does! Watching football and baseball are particular interests. Erin brings the passionate energy of a sports fan and a health teacher to Direction for the benefit of all!
Chuck Vorias, CounselorChuck is well known around Nashua as a skilled childcare worker. A School Counselor at the New Searles Elementary School since 2001, Chuck is relied upon to provide individual counseling covering personal, social and school related issues, preparing students for re-integration into the classroom. He also conducts classroom lessons covering topics related to creating a united safe school culture and climate, and facilitates small groups covering anger management, social skills, divorce, friendship, and bereavement. Chuck provides crisis intervention and mediation with students, and trains and facilitates fifth grade students in the Peer Mediation Program. Prior to entering education, Chuck served eight years as a Residential Counselor, Crises Worker, and Supervisor at Nashua Children’s Home.
People who know Chuck say his devotion to his rapidly growing family, and counseling, may be the only things greater than his devotion to the Boston Celtics!
