June Newsletter

School is winding down to a close, and DBHA has now served over 300 adolescents. We’ve entered into a pilot program with the State of New Hampshire that permits us to serve kids referred either through the Court (DJJS-involved) or from Protective Services (DCYF-involved). We see this as a major step towards an agreement with the State that would allow us to serve Healthy Kids Gold adolescents more generally.

We’ve modified our ancillary services to better reflect the need of the community. Our Aftercare Groups, offered to adolescents who have completed our IOP, is offered two days per week now and growing in popularity. We are now additionally offering a “Multi-Family Group” as a free service on Mondays, which orients all new families to Wholeistic Education, the foundation of our IOP culture. On Wednesdays, the Program Director offers the “Parenting Group” to parents interested in learning more about how to implement WED in their own homes. Please visit our “Programs” website page for more details.

As always, we thank all of our Associates, who really are the heart and soul of DBHA.
