Happy New Year from all of us at DBHA!
The Holidays were a busy time for our Intensive Outpatient Program, and referrals have continued to come in during early 2009. We’ve now served 175 clients as we get closer to our one-year anniversary in late January. Our Aftercare and Parents Groups enjoy increasing participation, as both clients and their parents have found it a nice way to maintain a connection with our program after their stay here.
Our rapid growth during the Fall and Winter of this year -- from serving approximately 10 adolescents at a time to our current census of about 20 -- has made it necessary for us to concentrate our efforts on refining our clinical and administrative procedures. We have several ideas for additional service offerings which we hope to begin implementing this Spring. We thank all our staff for their efforts, patience, and continued devotion to their clinical work during this time of growth.
