DBHA is pleased to announce that our Seacoast Intensive Outpatient Program is operational and has several adolescents currently enrolled. We offer our sincere thanks to Victor Maloney, Director of Seacoast Youth Services, for all of his help in taking our concept and making it a reality – without him, we honestly would not have been able to do it. We also would like to extend our thanks to Pastor Bruce Pierce, for his warm welcome and his patience as the building’s space is reconfigured to accommodate our program. For more information about DBHA’s collaboration with Seacoast Youth Services, below is a link to an article:

We have also launched a new initiative called the Direction – WED Program, which allows us to bring our services to more adolescents who otherwise might not be able to benefit from them. The Direction – WED Program consists of all the services provided by our Intensive Outpatient Program, including the Wholeistic Education Group experience and our Transportation Service, without the psychiatric (i.e. medical) component. By removing psychiatric services, we are able to lower our fees substantially, and still bring enormously beneficial treatment to adolescents who might not otherwise be able to access it. Finally, we are preparing to welcome back one of our beloved Associates, Cerissa Desrosiers, who is returning from her year-long Internship in California with her Doctorate of Psychology, and will assume the position of lead Group Therapist at our Seacoast site.
As always, thanks to all of our associates who make our treatment services possible.
